Natosha McClain

Pre-degree Psychotherapist and CTSS Mental Health Practitioner

Natosha is a CTSS Mental Health Practitioner and Psychotherapy Intern at Five Rivers Mental Health Clinic. She is a Master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Walden University and is currently completing her practicum and internship. Natosha also has her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in social welfare from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Natosha’s primary area of interest is working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health concerns. She also has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities due to her work at a group home for over six years. Natosha uses a strengths-based approach to therapy with some cognitive-behavioral elements, and she believes in the importance of building a therapeutic relationship involving safety, trust, and openness.

Natosha was born and raised in rural Minnesota and plans to remain working in a rural community upon graduation. In Natosha’s free time, she enjoys reading, caring for her plants, and working on puzzles. She also enjoys spending time with her pets: three dogs, two cats, and a hedgehog!
